Interactive Pets for your page!
You're not alone. Which is why our sister site, Webfetti, now offers you the chance to add an interactive pet to your profile! (Or to any HTML page, for that matter.) No muss, no fuss - just a happy pet to greet you and your friends every time you visit.
Check out these two examples:
Just move your mouse over the pet of your choosing - up, down, left, right. The pet will react to your movement. And no couches shall be harmed.
In addition to the fuzzy friends above, Webfetti also offers an interactive goldfish, mouse, and bunny. So give these cute characters a friendly home... right on your webpage. (Or add one to a friend's comments box!)

Top 10 Things Mom Really Wants for Mother's Day
An eCard for every type of Mom. Even gassy ones.
If there's one thing you quickly learn as a kid, it's that all moms are not the same. Some are very strict, others are rather lax. Some are high strung, others are easy-going. And no one's mom is as wonderful as your mom.
Our Mother's Day greeting cards are like mothers themselves - no two are alike. In fact, our collection of Mom's Day ecards even includes greetings for mothers who are hip to IM and mobile communication and moms who are surprisingly, well, gassy.
Yeah, that's right. I said gassy. Nothing is sacred anymore.
Don't have a mother who appreciates fart humor? No worries. We've got plenty of other Mother's Day cards to choose from - they're free, they're fun, and they're just a click away.
Not your mom's kind of Mother's Day
Our sister site Webfetti likes to walk on the wild side. To wit, check out their new glitter graphics and quote cards for Mother's Day. They've got Yo Momma jokes aplenty as well as M.I.L.F. and "mom jeans" glitter graphics for you to post on your blog or social networking profile.
They're probably not kosher for your mom's MySpace--if she has one--but are perfect to send to your friends. And if you're looking for mom-approved graphics, Webfetti's got those, too!
Check out these funny Mother's Day graphics...plus a video from College Humor that puts a hilarious spin on the Yo Momma joke!

Cinco de Mayo parties & glitter graphics
Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican celebration, will soon be upon us. This year, I somehow garnered invites to two separate Cinco de Mayo parties. One is on the 5th of May itself, and the other is on tres de Mayo (nice try, guys). I took it upon myself to brainstorm possible Mexican-related costume ideas for these soirées.
1. Frida Kahlo:
Procure a long, black wig, use black eyeliner to create a unibrow and mustache,
and—bam!—become the spitting image of one of the greatest
painters of the last century.
2. Gael Garcia Bernal: How to execute this? Big, foam hands à la The Science of Sleep? Gael as Che in The Motorcycle Diaries? Dressing as a transvestite as he did for Bad Education? All too complicated.
3. Taco: No. Just no.
I guess not all parties need to be theme parties. However, if you want to throw a Cinco de Mayo party on your profile, head to Webfetti for the latest Cinco de Mayo glitter graphics...

It's Arbor Day!
Today, April 25th, is Arbor Day!
I know that Arbor Day dictates that we plant trees, but—come on—I live right outside Manhattan in the borough of Queens. So here are some tree hugger tips that you can use no matter where you live.
• Admire the foliage in public parks
• Stroll around your local botanical garden
• Grow a mini tree right from your windowsill
• Save trees by reading periodicals online rather than in print
• Reduce, reuse, and recycle paper in your home and office

Everything is OK
Funny enough, when the tape was placed in cityscapes - few people actually bothered to read the message, they still detoured around and obeyed it as caution tape.
Keep the cycle going. Visit Everything is OK and click on "act", you can then request a kit of your own when they become available.
Administrative Professionals' Day
I've been working in offices for about five years, and I'd have to say that corporate stereotypes on TV and in movies are often true. Nightmare bosses (The Devil Wears Prada), geeky underlings (Dwight from The Office), visionary drones (The Hudsucker Proxy), and sexy secretaries (Secretary) do exist!
In celebration of Administrative Professional's Day, here's a roundup of my favorite office satires. Even if you don't work at a desk, these smart stories will surely entertain you.

Earth Day tips and smileys!
You don't have to buy a hybrid car to go green in time for Earth Day!
Tomorrow, remind yourself and your loved ones to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Little things like reusing cloth totes to bag your groceries, conserving water, using energy-saving compact fluorescent light bulbs, and unplugging unnecessary electric appliances can save the earth and save you some cash.
But there's no need to stop there. Check out some of my favorite eco-friendly sites for more tips on conservation.
