Add a hot summer Smiley!
School may be fast approaching, but we're far from the point where we're gonna pull out those bulky sweaters and coats. As far as I'm concerned, we're still squarely within shorts and swimsuits season. My windows are wide open and I refuse to let the rest of the summer just slip by!
Here are a few things there's still time to do!
1. Head to the beach
Every summer my fam meets up at the beach for two weeks of eating overpriced, underwhelming food, fighting other families for the best poolside table, reading on rafts, bickering amongst ourselves, heading down to the beach to play jellyfish hopscotch and playing on the Boardwalk!
2. Hang out in the park
I'm not so much about the pigeons, but toting a book and snacks and copping a squat is just my thing! I?ve got a stack by my bedside for my summer reading endeavors. I?ve got a ratty old music fest blanket. And I?ve got a brand new backpack to fill up with tasty goodness like peanut butter and cheese crackers and pretzel rods!
3. Ride a rollercoaster
A few of us here at Smiley HQ have been planning an amusement park outing for months now! We'll load up on fried dough and cotton candy then try to keep it all inside as we enjoy near-vertical drops! FUN!
4. Play paintball
Okay, so this one is not definite, but I do hope I can wrangle a few pals to load up some guns and shoot pellets at one another!
