Halloween oddities
1. Halloween tampon crafts
Is it just me, or is this googly-eyed tampon ghost brilliant? Much better than the Valentine's Day tampon heart earrings; those are much too real.

2. Star Wars-themed pumpkins
You don't need a high midichlorian count to appreciate these Death Star, Yoda, and Vader gourds. Still, it seems like a lot of time and energy to put into something that's just going to be smashed by the neighborhood ruffians...like yours truly.

3. Vintage Halloween photos
Entitled "Halloween in the Time of Cholera," collector Steven Martin's gallery of antique pictures haunts the viewer. The Orphanage, anyone?
