Gift Guide: God-y and Geeky Goodies
As demonstrated in my previous post, I seem to be overly affected by the "learning" experiences that either I or the people in my life go through.
Case and point, my son has been attending religion classes on Sundays. And while I'm not a regular church-goer by any stretch of the imagination, I've been trying to do my part by both participating and encouraging him to learn. Thus, my gift guide is a tad, ahem, God-y.
What can I say? It's rubbing off on me, and I feel compelled to share the love with you fine folks. But no worries, even God can't stop my not-so-inner-geek from sharing a little love, too.
1. For friends or relatives prone to getting into scuffles with holiday shoppers or over-enthusiastic Santas and who may have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas, I recommend these Jesus Band-aids. Who needs Neosporin when you can heal your blessed ouchies with this holy smackdown?
2. I love Joe's suggestion for the Atari Flashback 2.0. So here's another way to get that 30-something gamer in your life to "kick it" old school. Dress him up in one of these awesome classic video-game knit scarves!! (Lord knows he probably can't dress himself). Get yours at Bits 2 Die 4.

3. Apparently, there's been a run on the Talking Jesus Doll. So much so, that they are back-ordered until the second week of January. If there are any extra-patient, little bible-beaters on your list, this one's for them.

4. Looking for a neat stocking stuffer for your prankster nephew or something to liven up the office doldrums for one of your cubicle neighbors? Well, these inanimate character stickers are sure to do the trick.

5. If you're looking to get a little freaky-geeky over the holidays, the HTTPanties could be just the thing to add a little geeky spice into the season. Maybe you'll even think of a few more uses for that video-game scarf.
6. If the panties aren't enough blasphemous fun for you, try out these Jesus Dress-Up Fridge Magnets. The Christmas Edition is sure to please the entire family and cure you of that nagging curiosity of what the wounds of Christ would look like covered in green Grinch hair.

7. Lastly, every geek's wardrobe is incomplete without a few t-shirts, so here are a few that will let you get your geek and God on. The original Satan is a Nerd and the I'm God's Favorite t-shirts.
Regardless of how geeky you are and no matter who your God is, I wish you and yours a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!
