Send Mom a free eCard for Mother's Day...'cause she deserves it!
Being a mom, I'd be remiss not to remind you of one of the most important days of the year, Mother's Day! And that of course means presenting those hard-working women with something special. Now, some may say I'm a materialistic woman. Personally I don't like that term; I simply enjoy some of the finer things that happen to have exquisite brand names, that's all. But there is one thing I treasure more than any tangible gift. And that's a card from someone I love.
It's true. Being a writer, I appreciate the power words can hold. And I'm not just talking about being sappy either (although, I'm a proud cheeseball and always appreciate some divine sincerity, even if it's in the form of a lovey dovey card)! I also love to laugh and look at the humorous side of things.
So here's my not so subtle hint to my hubby (and to yours, or your kids, or anyone you remotely know): to hook us up with some card love on Mother's Day. I'm even going to make it super easy to get
free cards. Yep, I said FREE Mother's Day cards, peeps. Why spend cash when you don't need to, especially in this rotten economy?
Here's the deal: We have a brand new sibling who was born recently and his name is
CardBoiled. (Cute moniker, right? Sounds a lot better than
Apple or
Pilot Inspektor if you ask me.) Anyway, CardBoiled is a brand new site that offers free cards for a host of occasions even beyond Mother's Day. Check out this one (a personal favorite of mine):
So go get your mom a
free eCard from CardBoiled. It's the least you can do after all she's done for you (and you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about)! Can't wait to see mine, hubby!
