My life can be hectic at times. Between work and commuting, it's sometimes hard to make time for life. I've written posts about my time-management skills, or lack thereof, here and here. Needless to say, I need help.

Which is why my pick for my favorite site of 2006 is Lifehacker. I think their tagline says it all, "Don't live to geek; geek to live."

As its name and tagline suggest, this site is full of practical tips and tricks for leveraging technology, particularly the web, to get the most out of your time.

The writing is very down-to-earth with just enough sarcasm and snarkiness to make it a fun read. In particular, I really enjoy Gina Trapani's take on life and technology.

One of the big reasons why I love the site is that they are constantly sharing new and unique (and mostly free) downloadable and web applications, which helps in both my professional and personal life.

Lifehacker's been part of my morning routine for all of 2006 (RSS feed available here), and I recommend you make it part of yours for 2007.
