Google has been known to use a themed logo during any holiday. So it's only appropriate that they would do something related to Valentine's Day. What did they use for the logo this year?



Notice anything missing? A missing L, perhaps!!!

Do you think the strawberry stem is the L? Could be. But wow, that would certainly be a stretch, a big stretch. Like Paris Hilton performing in Romeo and Juliet. Or Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader anyone.

And while the stem-as-L may be what Google intended (along with an attempt to generate some buzz - which, of course, we're doing), I'm taking off style points for a SEARCH ENGINE that makes searching for a letter in its own logo a true challenge. Imagine if Ask.com hid its "s" under Cupid's wings? Ak!
