My typing skills are atrocious (almost as bad as the pun in the title). I'm not saying I'm a two-finger, hunt and peckster, but I'm no friend of QWERTY either. On a good day, when I've had my Wheaties and daily dose of caffeine, I may get up to six of my digits enlisted in crafting my oh-so-witty blog posts, email replies, and IM quips. But for the most part, I'm relegated to four fingers: left index, right index, right middle, and right thumb (solely for the spacebar). And on average, I punch out a measly 40 words per minute.

So, how thrilled was I to find an online shooter game that "helps" you improve your typing skills? The object of Word Shoot is to shoot the bad guys before they get you, and instead of pointing & clicking to shoot said bad guys, you type the word that appears beneath them. As the game progresses, the bad guys come quicker, and the words get longer. It's a hoot!
