We all know that the obsession with celebrities has gone too far. But sometimes, the creativity that has been born from this neurosis is interesting.

I came across an artist today named Jason Kronenwald, who creates likenesses of your favorite famous Hollywood blondes with used chewing gum. He calls them "Gum Blondes" and he has been doing it since 1996...well before it was in vogue to be celeb-obsessed.

Check out his work at www.gumblondes.com and keep in mind that no paint or dye was used in his creations. Instead, according to the site, the "mixing of colours take place inside the mouth during chewing, using an endless variety of flavours made by an endless variety of companies." Note that he has a dedicated team of chewers and does not chew any of the gum himself...unless he must.

Now that's Hollywood Royalty!
